Digging Out

Posted by
Dawn (Maryland, United States) on 15 February 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

We just had two blizzards back to back. I am not sure of the total accumulation yet. I am sick, sick, sick of snow! LOL.

This is the sidewall of snow in my driveway.

As you can clearly see....I had a wet lens. I was unavoidable due to the gusty winds.

I appreciate any comments!! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.

One of my photos made the spotlight here on aminus3. To view the spotlight photos click here. My spotlight photo was posted on October 12, 2009.

Please note that I do shrink my photos to website size before I post them on this site. Unfortunately, sometimes this results in JPEG artifacts. My original photos do not have these. I have had some comments in the past about this, so just an FYI.

Great shot Dawn ~ i think the wet lens adds to the impact of the image ..... Everyone seems to be having more snow than usual this year ( GLOBAL WARMING ? )

Great shot Dawn ! That's crazy because we don't have to much snow this year in Quebec... But don't worry, i bet that in a month, you'll be able to play golf and here, we will be still shoveling snow. ;)

Nice control of the dynamic range with sunburst and the shovel in shadow. Of course, the snow drift is an unusual sight for us in Hawaii!
